switzerland

We weren't very prepared for the incredible landscapes that greeted us as we drove past the Italian boarder and into Switzerland. It's a place we have ancestral history, so we contacted distant family and had dinner together in the middle of a heat wave in the lake side city. We then drove up into the mountains and by chance through a small town where we came across signs pointing to the Grotto Lafrankie, so we followed and found our way to a restaurant next to our lovely relatives house who spotted us when she came home. The waterfalls haven't a rival in the world to their beauty and it felt like we could hide there forever.
Stopping on the side of the road to frolic in the amazing fields (yes, we frolic)
The valley of the water falls
Jess sitting on a  neighbourhood wall near Lafrankie Grotto
View from our restaurant tables
Italian women trying to talk to us in a small street
Swimming in the Swiss waterfalls
Abandoning shoes to walk along the river
Jess's hair drying whilst driving through the mountains
Beautiful stone houses
