It was a long flight. 29 hours in total to get to our first destination, Milan. Once we'd arrived we headed straight for our hired car and went exploring. We had the most exciting time running around our first Italian city and learning how to drive on the other side of the road and not be killed. We went all over the city, getting lost several times but definitely knew our way around by the end of it. We climbed the Duomo Cathedral, which was gorgeous, shopped at the Rectangle of Gold, walked though botanical gardens and saw the Leonardo Da Vinci museum.
